RICE!!!!! What's next, body kit or a GT-R emblem?
another one of these rice debates... I like them, they accent your car very well... keep 'em if you like them, if not... I'll buy 'em...

OK, if someone did that to a Civic, everyone would scream rice, but if someone puts it on a classic Mustang, then it's ok? I'm thinking no, that's tacky and there are better ways to spend money than on worthless neon lights.

Ok...these reactions are about as mixed as I get from my friends. But, it still remains...I never have to turn them on if I dont want to...And I rarely drive my car at night anyway...but i'm going to keep them.

I think they're fine. Like Cody said he doesn't have to have them turned on. His car is already modified a little so I don't think its a big deal. Now say if it were a completely stock, mint 66 then I would say no, but hey beauty is in the eye of the beholder and right now Cody is the beholder

They also say it's only skin deep but you are going to have to get down past the bone to see it on this. :banana2:

Hey, I thought that was much less painful than telling him to buy a vowel. That was ruthless. (It did make milk shoot out my nose when I read it though).

Hey guys...no need to be rude here...all I wanted was your opinions on the lights...thats all...if you dont like um...a simple thumbs down would suffice....on that note...I dont understand the "buy a vowel" thing; can someone explain it to me in a nice and curtious way? I would appreciate it.

We're (or at least I) am not trying to be rude Codeman, just having some fun. Some folks are Ok with your mod but anytime you take something that is normally considered ricey and put it on a classic you are just going to have to accept some good natured ribbing is all, even if it looked sweet as heck folks are gonna bust your chops about it.

As for the vowel thing, have you ever seen wheel of fortune? Well, he gave you the first letter and he gave you the last letter with the one in the middle missing, it was up to you to buy (choose) the vowel that goes in the middle. I'll give you a hint, LMan wasn't trying to spell GUY.

Ha!...Thats pretty funny...the vowel thing that is....just not as funny when its about my car. I understand about the ribbing on the lights..its just really hard to tell when people are seroius or not with things they say in a thread. Computers dont have the luxury of sarcasm. to emplain the choice of the lights more...I was not trying to impress the honda civics with my lights...All I was going for was something a little different...and something that no one would ever expect. I think I've succeeded.
oh by the way...thanks pakrat...you're a real straight shooter.

Ok....so the onther night I took the car out to a restaurant ona beautiful night. I was crusing around the parkin glot looking for a parking spot...just at idle and letting it rumble through the lot. So any way...a group of guys come out of the place just as I drove past the door. (I didnt have my lights on) so they walk out a little more starring at my car and I kid you not...they were doing this :worship: So...I decided to flip the lights on...They Loved it! They all went "OH, Man!! That is Sweet!!! I gave athem a good engine rev, and went on looking for a spot. I thought that was a pretty good indication that the lights are a success.

Indiana is a pretty cool state...if you dont want to do anything cool. But we do have some cool stuff though...Indy 500...Notre Dame...Colts... Pacers...Corn.. and for some reason, Styx does about 5 concerts per year near South Bend and Fort Wayne...I have no idea why.
