I need a new rear-end for my '69. I've read in a few mustang mags that the 8.8 is almost as durable as the venerable 9" rear, but weighs less. I was wondering if anyone has any experience putting an 8.8 in a classic stang, and how hard it was to do. I don't plan on any serious drag racing, but I want to be able to stand on it once in a while without breaking. I plan on upgrading to a 351W stroker motor.

IIRC, the 8.8 will have to have some leaf spring mounts fabbed or relocated.
