I don't know a lot about classic cars but I'm eager to learn, I recently got a 69 coupe with a 302, has vinyl top, wood grain door panel and dash, white knitted seat, I don't think it is a grande was told it was a deluxe and there were not very many made, does that sound right? Thank you for any info.

 

Sounds kinda like a Grande to me but get a Marti report and it'll tell you all you wanna know!

Ah, well there you go. A Grande is 65E, I think. A Marti report will give you an idea how many were made with the deluxe interior then.

 

Had my dad look it up, he says from what he can see there where only about 5,800 made. Thanks for your help!

The Grande option also included chrome script on the C pillars. You could get them with or without the vinyl top. My first Mustang was a '69 Grande.
