69 grande

I just picked up a 69 grande, anyone have any useful info on this car, i got it at a great price and wanna restore, it has zero body damage except for the paint and the interior is trashed. engine fired right up after sitting for a good while! Did i do good or what, by the way i got it for $700.00

700 bucks for a 69 grande qith a good body that runs is darn near phenomenal. the interior can be replaced but it will actually cost more than the car did. the grandes also have a non-existant cloth material called "hopsack cloth" which nobody reproduces as of yet, you can use the regular deluxe comfortweave upholstery in it's place or even have a local trim shop replace the comfort weave from the new covers with some kind of cloth. sounds like you have a prettty nice project there, be sure to post pics when you can. good luck and welcome

Thx for the info Bryan, i will post pics. Do you know where i can find parts and accesories for this machine? BTW FORD MUSTANG won the spring nationals in houston yesterday! i was there! one of John Forces cars.
