68 mustang timing chain cover

68 mustang timing chain cover

Am wanting to shift my 302 to an electric fan but am having problems finding a timing chain cover..... Would like chrome but not picked at this point

What does the timing cover have to do with an electric fan? Confused.

I've only ever seen one Ford timing cover that someone bothered to has chromed and wasn't impressed at all. Looks a lot better just painted to match the engine if you ask me.
To run an electric fan I simply removed the fan and spacer and found some shorter bolts to hold the water pump pulley on.
