Although we were able to open the hood while checking out the car,now that its arrived home the hood catch will not release! Anyone have any tips on how we can open it! Thanks!

 

mine stuck sometimes- while pulling the lever give the hood a thump above the latch, she'll usually pop right open...spray a little lube in there before reclosing dont get too carried away, the older hoods are thicker than new cars, but still the ball of your hand can dent it if you hit it too hard...
