68 C4 to T5 conversion

I have a 68 FB with a 69 351W that just came out of my donner with a C4 on it. I want a manual and have located a 93 T5 out of a wrecked 5.0. Has anyone done this conversion before. What should I grab from the 5.0 and what do I need to order? Any advice would be appreciated.

my 69 has a 5 speed but there are just too many things i fabricated to make it work for me to remember .. i know your most difficult problem will be getting a clutch pedal to work .. whether by cable or lever .. i had to make a clutch pedal for mine to get the cable to work .. i know all this stuff can be bought if you look around a bit .. you will need a straight shift flywheel from your era of engine .. meaning a 351 unit of the late 60`s or early 70`s as i believe they have a different balance in later years .. someone more familiar with this than i will chime in soon .. too many people have done it already ...

A kit. Subtract the transmission, these are the things you'll need, with the exception of the pedals in the car, those you'll have to source/fabricate.

Two write ups, more if you search google for, specifically "1969 Mustang T5 Conversion".

It's a chore. But it's been done and plenty how to's and fab already pre done, if you buy a kit to do it.

You can reuse your driveshaft(might need to be shortened), yoke, and transmission mount. You will need a clutch, flywheel, bellhousing, clutch pedal, transmission crossmember, and a few other misc. parts.

I would recommend a late model bellhousing so that you don't need the adapter plate and then you just use a cable or hydraulic clutch kit.

I used a tremec 3550 5sp. I changed the yoke and used a boss 302 drive shaft. I used all the factory 4spd parts but added a adapter to the 5.0 blow shield. I put a plate in between the trans and the bell housing so I could use the older clutch and pressure plate. Ill try to take a picture and add it later
