66 mustang brakes

Hi. I am new and have a question about my 66 mustang hardtop brake system.

It has standard brakes. Can I install a master cylinder for power brakes?

Yes, they have complete kits for power front disc brakes. It's a very worth while investment if you have the old drum brakes.....

Great. Thanks.

You would think that someone would have manufactured a rear disc brake system to replace the drum.

They do:

Example only. No endorsement intended, just proof.

Alternatively, you can get all you need from a Lincoln Versaille if you can find one. Their rear axles with the disc brakes on them pretty much bolt right in, with perhaps a change in yoke and/or change in driveshaft maybe. And of course, the linkage to the brakes as needed.

Among many other ideas that have been done/thought of.
