Looking at a new 331 short block from dss racing that will work better with my vortech.

I would definitely ask dss. Make sure the compression is right for a blower.

Thanks. Im going to get the -18cc dish pistons, that will give me around 8.5 to 1. With 8.5 to 1 I can use lower octane fuel, driveablity will be much better and it should make a lot more power with the 331. I have a 306 in there right now, with out the vortech supercharger it was pushing 318hp to the rear wheels @ 6800rpm, then I added 10 to 12lbs of boost with a vortech v1 s-trim but it drinks the fuel.
