65 outer cowl panel

65 outer cowl panel

hello all I"m in the middle of a major rust Fix I"ve got my cowl inner patchs in place everythings lookin good.BUT!!! I"m having a problem finding A new outer cowl cover .The old one I was going to use is almost as bad as the one I took off. I"ve checked most all catalogs, NPD has a part no. but says not to hold my breath waiting on it Any Ideas !!!!!!! THanks AW

yikes.....try a junk yard?...but that stuff will be rough too. I dont know where you could get a new one.

Your only choice is a used panel....while a reproduction has recently been released for the 67/68 models, nobody has made one for the 65/66's.

all you have to do is contact a midwest Mustang junk yard. They have lots of non rusted top panels. Problem is it is a lot of work to remove. It won't be cheap.
