65 coupe to vert
Hi how are you guys doing? I am going to convert my coupe to a vert and I was curious if anyone has done this or seen it done and would like I talk about it! Thanks a lot for your help I look forward to hearing from anybody!

There is a LOT of structure that has to be added, namely a floor pan brace plate, and a X frame behind the seats. Also you'll have to change out the seats if you want the folding top, because the side panels are larger to accomodate the convertible workings.
If you're going with a manual top, then it's just bracing... cut the top off, figure out a frame (I'd suggest a kit if possible!) and apply a fabric cover that has a glass/plastic window.
I would simply not do it, myself. Better things to spend money on... and they're not easy to get right. But I'm all for you doing it if you want to and can!
Also, google is going to be your best friend, but you probably need to do the right words... say, like this:

Hi,
Even if you manage to pull the epic conversion of, what will the resale potential be like? Knowin how some owners get very particular about their cars they could see the car as being ruined as a result. I appreciate it would look nice but i can help feeling that the cost and pain to do it would be out weighed by buying an original convertable and selling your hard top if thats the look your after.
Good luck with the project if you go ahead.
