Okay, I've asked this before and now I have the answer!! I spent the last 2 days (took my sweet time) trying to install my C6 from my old '78 E-150 in my '66 coupe and here is what I've found. Without some minor fabrication to the crossmember (ok, maybe major modification!!) AND shortening the driveshaft, its DEFINATELY not a bolt-in transmission. So now I guess I'll need to sell the C6 and get another C4 for my '84 since I wound up putting the C4 BACK into the '66. Oh well, at least it didn't cost me anything to learn this lesson!!
