Gas lines wouldn't be to hard, and you can buy a kit for the wiring.

After a lot of thinking I've decided to keep my car. I simply do not have the funds to complete the restoration the way a Boss 302 should be restored. Though I'd like to own a classic Mustang some day I must admit I'm far more partial to late models and that is something I have just realized. I'd like to thank everyone for the advice.

Now enjoy that termie, let your buddy finish the Boss, and then it's worth the trade!

I deal with these alot...and realistically, the car is only worth 15 to 18K with the driveline. To finish this car, you could put another 30 to 65K into it depending on how nice of a restoration you want. If you are willing to settle for aftermarket parts, the price is more reasonable. However, with that said, I have turned down 3 boss 302's this summer already that were drivers at 30 to 32K. That makes it really difficult to restore one of these cars right now.

ahh i love 70's mainly because me and my father built one together may make a thread to show some pictures. i wouldnt trade a daily driven mustang for a project tho. that body looks like its in far better condition than what mine looked like when we first bought it.
