I've purchased a 1968 Mustang convertible that has had quite a bit of work done. Unfortunately, the door plate is missing and I can't determine the original build information for the car (color, options, etc.). Is there a way I can find that information using the VIN?

Also, can a new plate be made for the car (post restoration)?

Tx, Rich

I am pretty sure the VIN is all you need for a Marti report and they offer reporoduction plates as well once you prove ownership.
