I know this is wrong thread. But did anyone see the 1967 Shelby GT 500 Fastback just go for $190,000 at the Barrett-Jackson auction. Keep all your paperwork boys and girls.

I saw that!, made my day to see some of the prices, this auction usually sets the bar for the year to come, made me wont to go out to the garage and tell the ol girl she is earning her keep!

Unfortunately you are right. Sure it's nice for the sellers but it stinks for anyone who is in the market for one because those prices are significantly inflated by the rich old farts that are doing the bidding. Every Tom, weiner and Harry who puts their car up for sale will use B-J as a pricing point and it just isn't a real world figure. :bang:
