My Mustang
My name is Keith Dalton, been a member here for a while.
Got into mustangs in high school. With my first 64 1/2 convertible
getting totaled by a little old lady. Then had a 65 coupe that I took apart and never put back together, sold it for more that I gave for it.
My current mustang is a 65 Convertible with a 200 6 cylinder.
Just finished upgrading the front brakes to disc and added a 5 lug rear end
with new wheels and tires. Also have a 2007 gt, can't decide which is more fun to drive.

My name is Izaac. I am 16 and proud owner of a fully restored 1965 GT A-Code. It was handed down to me from my grandfather and I love it! People break their necks staring as it glides down the road! I live in Flagstaff, AZ!

Hi! Im Joseph, from Montgomery County, PA. I just bought this 1965 Mustang and She is great. She has a 302, c4 trans, 9" rear, air shocks in the rear. New mostly everything. So I will continue with the mods and keep her nice and shiny.

New to me
I just bought a 1972 fastback that has been cloned to the yellow/black Boss 351. It needs a lot of TLC but has clean metal and clean interior. The downfalls are the 2:75.1 rear diff. and the fmx trans. Has the 351 2bbl, but I have plans to fix that as well!!

Hello, I am Trevor and I have a 1965 FB, 408 strokes motor, 9" rear, American Torque rims, and T5 trans. The rest is original from the body panels and sheet metal to the interior.

It has been preserved since it was made, aside from the original owner deciding to paint it bright yellow and tossing the motor.. As for the rest of the car it's in pretty good condition for 49 years ('65 model, not '64 which is 50 years old for who ever might question). As for her story, I haven't gotten a straight answer from anyone on her life, there's about 3 or 4 different ones and I have tried putting them together but given up. If only cars could talk.

Stanger Intro
Have owned many Mustangs and Fords. Currently have a couple of convertibles. Here's a few pics of a '73 convertible I picked up off CL just a couple of years ago. Kind of a 'barn find'. Previous owner had it almost 20 years, but real interest was bikes. He had done alot of work to it including: rebuilt heads, replaced alt, starter, tune up, carb, gas tank, and quarter panel. 351C with automatic, front disc brakes.

hello all, someone I know is getting rid of his 66 coupe and I told him I was interested. below is a pic of how it sits today, it hasn't ran or moved since 04. it's engine code C, the V8 289 cubic inch 200hp 2 barrel carb. he was hoping for about $1500 but I told him we would talk price when my mom buys a house with a garage i can store it in because as of now I have no where to store it. did I mention I'm 23 and really excited about potentially getting this car to restore. btw he's only selling it because he won't have the money to restore it, he has 2 young kids. but is going to hold onto it for me until I have a place to store it and have the money to get it from it.
quick question tho for the guys who have been restoring cars for year about a rough estimate how much does a restore cost on a 66 coupe? I know there is really no way to know for sure but a rough estimate is all I'm looking for. if all goes well say what 15-20k? I know the engine needs new seals and gaskets, body work is in pretty good shape besides a touch of rust on center console bump and under hood by battery tray, needs a paint job, wheels, tires an all. I believe he has most of the parts, anything that was bad he said he through away. but I might have to do the same since its been awhile since he's messed with it. I'll make my way that way soon to check it out in person. thanks!

I just got this about a week ago. I previously owned a 68 Mustang project and sold it and have regretted it since. I'm not sure what direction I'm going to go yet with it. It has some issues engine, interior, and some bodywork. Mostly rust free from what I can find. I want to put a rear spoiler on it (ducktail) and give it a nice blend of modern and classic original. It has a 302 engine out of a 1976 ford. The VIN on the title I have says it is a 120hp 200ci 6-Cyl (Per mustang decoder sites) but clearly it is not so I don't know if the suspension was changed out when they put the V8 in or what. The door VIN plate is gone. I have not yet checked on the fender aprons to see if the VIN matches. The title does show a 67 mustang with the correct car color as well, and its not stolen. It has a glass pack underneath and new carpet kit and other new things added. The guy I got it from had it for a few years and it was his sons and his project. Any opinions, thoughts, or suggestions for inspiration or general thoughts are appreciated.
