Tickets are $10 each and reportedly help an incredible cause.

As we get closer to the release of the upcoming 2020 Shelby GT500 Ford Mustang, Ford is making honorable moves in relation to marketing its newest performance release. The Blue Oval is raffling off a 2020 Shelby GT500 Ford Mustang to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (a leader in research and awareness with the constant battle against Type 1 diabetes).

The new 2020 GT500 will be 100% one of kind and without a doubt it will be a hot collector’s item. The car will feature a one-of-one Venom metallic clearcoat, which is a sort of ultra-reflective dark grey. On top of the paint will be black racing stripes that run down the center of the car in traditional GT500 fashion. This GT500 will also include the Carbon Fiber Track Package, which if you recall from a previous article on our sister site, will cost $18,500 by itself. This is due in part to the extremely unique carbon-fiber wheels offered as part of the package.

In addition, the GT500 will offer semi-slick Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires for ultimate grip, a rear-seat delete for weight reduction, custom Recaro leather-trimmed seats, and the rear wing from Ford’s GT4 Mustang race car.

Ford’s vision with this raffle is to give people an opportunity to win the brand’s fastest production vehicle of all-time while making the conscious effort to make a position change in the world. This is not the first time that Ford has donated to JDRF as they have been doing so for almost a decade and it surely will not be the last time.

The plan for the company and JDRF is to sell approximately 75,000 raffle tickets at $10 each. This would allow for almost a million dollars worth of donations toward the cause of battling Type 1 diabetes through JDRF’s efforts.

While the main prize will be winning the Venom Shelby GT500, there is a second place prize as well, which includes an all-inclusive VIP pass for two people to the 2020 Daytona 500 race. Not a bad second place prize if you ask us.

If this cause interests you and you fancy the chance of winning a completely unique GT500 for as little as 10 dollars, please check out this link. The final drawing for this raffle will be held on November 14 at a Ford event. However, one need not attend to have the chance to win. We think that this raffle is a win-win for a good cause and so far only 4,132 people have signed up, so please check out that link for a chance to win!
