Ford will auction last Shelby GT500 for charity at Hot August Nights

With the all new 2015 Mustang around the corner, it only makes sense that the end is near for the current generation car. In true Blue Oval fashion, Ford will be donating the very last 2014 Shelby GT500 Convertible to an auction for charity.
Since the last GT500 ‘vert isn’t built yet, the winner of the auction will receive the rights to the yet-to-be built car at the upcoming Hot August Nights with all of the proceeds going to the Brain Injury Association of America (BIAA), an organization championed by the legendary Parnelli Jones.
Since the last Shelby is yet to be built, the winner of the auction will get to select the exact interior and exterior combination of choice and the car will even be signed by Parnelli Jones himself.
Since rumor on the street whispers that no range topping Shelby GT500 will be available in 2015 or possibly ever, we expect this to be a very special car.
