Ok, so a Mustang driver getting a speeding ticket isn’t exactly news. The excessive speed part isn’t terribly surprising or newsworthy, either. But the hilarious part is the excuse. When Richard Bernhagen from St. Paul, Minnesota was pulled over for driving his 2001 Mustang GT 148 MPH in a 55 MPH zone, he said, “I haven’t driven it in a while and was airing it out, I was wrong.” He then admitted to doing 135 mph said, “It was stupid, I know.” Airing it out, good one.
