Ford Releases 0 – 62 MPH Time for New Mustang

If you’re still wanting to get a better sense of the true factory speed of the new Mustang, you’ll certainly find this bit of news interesting – although it’s somewhat tailored to fans of the Ford pony car in Europe.

Ford has announced that the 415 horsepower V8 model has a 0-62 mph time of 4.8 seconds, according to Carbuyer.co.uk. As expected, opting for the 313 horsepower 2.3-litre EcoBoost model slows things down a bit with a time of 5.8 seconds.

Still, the four-banger’s 0-62 mph time is nothing to sneeze at, all things considered. Of course, if it’s speed you’re aiming for with the new Mustang, there are a lot of mods being developed that can help to substantially reduce those times.

However, it seems that getting your hands on a new Mustang will be a little tougher in Europe than it’s been in the U.S. In the U.K., buyers can only order the new Mustang through Ford online, or through one of the small network of specialist dealers authorized to sell Mustangs and models sold under the brand’s forthcoming premium brand, Vignale.
