Mustang takes over the #2 spot in most-read-about vehicles online list.

Every quarter, digital advertising provider Swoop releases their Automotive Digital Brand Exposure Index. Until the last quarter, the Chevy Corvette has topped the list as the most-read-about vehicle online. However, in the first quarter of 2017, Corvette lost its stop spot to two Fords — the F-150 and Mustang.

Swoop’s Automotive Digital Brand Exposure Index ranks all North American vehicles, based on how often people read articles about them online. The Ford Mustang now ranks #2 with 6.4% of automotive articles read. Clearly, Mustang fans enjoy reading about the sports car, and here at The Mustang Source, we’ve been doing our part by providing quality content to our fellow Mustang aficionados.

Ford Mustang Overtakes Corvette in Online Visibility

It’s unclear why the Corvette fell two spots to #3. Swoop doesn’t provide any info about why vehicles gain or lose readership each quarter. If we had to take a guess, it would probably be because the online readers are starting to understand just how amazing Mustangs are, and how the Corvette has just been lagging behind. What do you think?

Now, let’s see how we can overtake the F-150 next quarter for the top spot!
