Fathouse Fabrications’ Shelby GT350 Makes Mind-blowing Power

By -

Mind-melting twin-turbo Shelby makes nearly 1,000 horsepower at the wheels.

If you frequent The Mustang Source, you’ve likely seen us shed some light on Fathouse Fabrications before. They are well known for building some astonishing Mustangs. Seeing nearly four digits on a dyno sheet is pretty standard around their neck of the woods. This GT350 is undoubtedly no exception.

In a set of videos recently released on their youtube channel, Fathouse demos their GT350 1000R package on and off the dyno. This car also has their stainless works exhaust system, and describing it as anything less than heavenly would be criminal.

The 1000R package is a whole lot more than just slapping a couple of turbos on a GT350. It is, in fact, quite an involved install. One thing that might surprise a lot of people right off the bat is the fact that the turbos are mounted at the bottom of the car. Meaning, from the top, you really can’t see them if you aren’t explicitly looking for them. You can see some more detail-rich photos of the install from Fathouse themselves.

This GT350 has the optional Motec full standalone ECU setup in addition to the kit. The kit includes custom build turbo manifolds in stainless steel, as well as a stainless steel exhaust. Additionally, it consists of a twin-disc clutch upgrade, Injector Dynamics injectors, twin Tial recirculating wastegates, a Tail blowoff valve, variable electronic boost control, custom flex-fuel dyno tuning and a host of other modifications to support the massive power it makes.

Massive is nearly an understatement, too. This car now makes 909 horsepower at the wheels, bringing its crank rating well into the 1,000 horsepower range. We can only imagine how rowdy this monster is to try to keep in a straight line. Based on the sound from the exhaust clips, we can only imagine they are handling the accelerator pedal with a very light foot in that parking lot.

We never get tired of seeing the crazy projects the guys over at Fathouse Fabrications are cooking up. Whether it be a twin-turbo Coyote or a twin-turbo Voodoo, we are always on the edge of our seat and ready to see whatever they kick out next. If you are in the market for some serious power gains with your Mustang, you should definitely give them a call!
