glad you had fun! not sure what you are trying to get out of HPDE events, but if you are trying to learn from them, I wouldnt recommend rushing into getting solo'd. not sure how many events you have done before, but if you are going solo after 1 event, youre going to miss out on picking up tips and techniques from your instructors that will help you out at future events. these guys are full of great information, and in my opinion, the longer you can keep them in the car, the better you'll be. The cost of coaching on a private basis is very expensive. My first event, my instructor was just focused on getting me around the track safely, and after 5 events, we'll work on more advanced techniques like trail braking and working on cutting down lap times (i.e. reducing braking zones, gear selection, more advanced lines - not neccessarily the "DE" line).

Not mine; had a photo assignment at Kentucky Speedway this weekend. Of course with a Boss on order, I spent some extra time getting some shots of the display model that they had. It was parked next to one of the Force drag cars and actually got more attention. This was a preproduction vehicle, hence the PP0002 number.
