Great news!!! Obviously you will keep us posted, but make driving the **** out of it a priority, enjoy it first, then report back without leaving out any details I bet you feel a little more relief!!

KRAMER STOPS AGAIN, CONFUSED.
ELAINE What?
JERRY Where's the car?
KRAMER I thought it was here.
ELAINE (RE: CAR) There it is!...No that's not it.
KRAMER It's got to be here.
JERRY Maybe it's not on this level.
GEORGE What?
KRAMER (RE: CAR) I found it!
ELAINE He's got it.
KRAMER Oh...no.
JERRY All right, that's it. From now on no more calling out they found it, unless we're sitting in it. Okay?

Guys, check out my post on the other thread:
NEWS:
Just received a call from Ford Customer Service. Long and short of the conversation is this:
1. NO Bosses have shipped.
2. All Bosses and new Explorers are receiving a Quality Inspection. But she said that it was not for an issue on the Bosses, but rather more of a final check for the Bosses due to their limited numbers and high visibility. She also said that the plant said that they are moving much more quickly on inspections now, and that the inspections of the Bosses are occurring on Ramp 5P (where some of our were updated to yesterday).
3. I asked specifically when they would be released for shipment. I asked if it was hours, days, months or years; she said that although the plant would not give her an exact time, she expected on the order of a couple of days.
Talked to her for about 10 minutes. After all this, I expect that our Bosses will be released for shipping in a couple to a few days (barring any problems discovered).

Sparky has the same info as CS but from the best I can tell he can decipher it way better. I sure they are nice people there but I doubt they have any idea what goes on outside their little cubical where they only field calls all day.

We could all stop this daily stress test and just ask Sparky to tell us when the first Boss ships. I'm sure he'd be ok with that. He's seen enough VIN's to use as a query.

I know it's tough. I wad told four to six weeks on my 2011 500. Three and a half months later it was delivered. My best advise try not to think about it. It will get there when it does. It's like watching a clock, it seems to slow down the longer you watch it.
