Plasti-Dipped the trunk lid panel

Plasti-Dipped the trunk lid panel
Got tired of the shiny black showing dust/dirt almost immediately after being cleaned, especially after any drive, so I thought I'd try Plasti-Dipping it, to see how it'd come out.
Honestly, I don't think it looks bad, I'm gonna run it like this for a while.
Initially I was planning on removing the plasti-dip from the center section so the faux gas cap would show through, but I like it like this for now ...

From: That town you drive through to get to Myrtle Beach
thats kind of the point, it does the same as some of the $100 panel, for $5 a can, and you can peel it right off when or if you decide you dont like it

Thanks guys.
I love Plasti-Dip for its removal-ness (lol) ... if you make a mistake you can peel it off and re-do it, if you don't like it you can peel it off and no harm done
For now I like it. I've driven the car today for about 45 minutes and at the end of the drive I couldn't see any dust on that panel like I would've seen it the panel was still glossy black.
For me, I got what I wanted, and it didn't cost me much, since I already had the Plasti-Dip and the labor was free

Looks good! I think you should take off the plastidip on the circular part in the inside of the faux gas cap and the gt emblem. That way it stands out a little bit.
Here's how mine looks...

Granted; my car sits in a garage all week while I take the bus to work, so it's not too bad.
