Painted mirror covers, custom (home-made) wheel caps, and inappropriate badging (badge ***** avert your eyes).

You can see the 4-inch stainless tips added when I had the Pypes M-80s installed (which I now regret):

Custom wheel caps - the cap is painted gloss black, and star is 3-dimensional and is painted performance white:

Ugh. I actually like it, emblems and all. Looks like a Shelby GTS. I love those side skirts for the 2010+ also. I think they should be standard on 2013+. Center caps are awesome! I'll insert my obligatory "paint your calipers black" comment here.

I like it! Not a fan of the badges and it has nothing to do with the car its on, I just...hate badges. I would strip them off my 5.0 if I didn't have mounting holes lol

Well done all over bud.

Can you record a clip of the Pypes exhaust?

Looking good man! I have a feeling that headlight splitters would look great on your car; carry the lines of your bumper up, which would make the car look a little lower and more aggressive in the front. Great car though!

I'm not a fan on the headlight splitters. I would, however, like to find a set of headlights with the black turn signal bezels.

I'd rather just replace them. I've heard that starting in 2011, Ford changed the adhesive they were using to glue the lights together, and that change made it a significant ***** to get them apart without messing something up. I'd rather just buy some.

I think painted side skirts and painted rear should come like that from the factory. I'm thinking about painting mine as well..love the kit and the stripes. I'd like to see your car with silver rims for some reason.

The side skirts and rear fascia are part of the 3D-Carbon body kit, but yeah, I agree - the OEM parts should have been painted body color.

My wife thought I should have gotten silver/chrome wheels as well. I think the black visually pulls the car closer to the ground though.

I like how the custom center caps came out + how they're almost invisible until you get closer. Sweet job!

Let me worry about that. There - I spent an appropriate amount of time being worried about it. That went a lot smoother than I thought it would, but you're right, a little introspection is good every now and then. I have to admit that the sudden rush of emotion caused me to almost stop typing this message, but I guess I'm stronger than even I thought I was.

Thanks - they took almost three months to make (mostly because I wasn't in a hurry). All totaled, they cost less than $100, and nobody else has anything like them - yet.

If anyone wants to do the same thing, I can provide details and sources for the parts.

They're definitely unique ! You should post some pics of them in my thread here

shelby badges on a v6 is such a ricer mod! it's poserish and down right disrespectful to the actual shelby owners!

Why not just buy a Shelby? It looks good but every time someone says something about it being a Shelby you're either A, lying and saying that it is one, or B explaining how you faked it. Couldn't you have done it all without fake badges?
