Fixed my issue with truck badge...kinda(PICS)
That big chrome..fake gas cap..THING was just not cutting it for me, I think it looks terrible IMO. So, I went and bought a can of gloss black paint and tried to make it look a little better.
Thoughts? Opinions?
I taped off the "flat black" to give it some contrast to the gloss and break it up so it didn't look like a glob of paint, even a factoryish look?

Looks great...thanks for the pics. I was thinking the same thing, with the exception of leaving the chrome unpainted and only doing the flat silver. I am not sure what the deal is with the companies making these pie plate size emblems. The worst I have seen is Mercedes, and VW.

I like the idea because I agree the stock look is a bit much... kind of like a Flava Flav clock necklace thing in that it's just too big.
I'd have to see it in person to know 100%, but I like the idea in theory anyway. Maybe not the WHOLE thing blacked out? Not sure.
