Convertible w/401A Cashmere Interior + 19" nickel painted wheels
Already posted these on the main board, but felt this Performance White subfolder was a good repository for those looking for appearance ideas with different colors/options. Bought from local dealer, Hall Ford, in Newport News, who had to D-X it from Cary, NC. It had exactly the (sparse) options I wanted (the GT convertible base price is tough enough to get over).
Options include:
- 19" painted nickel luster wheels (sheez I love these!)
- Comfort package (once you've had heated seats you cannot go back!)
- Security package (what the hell it was $395)
- Rapid Spec 401A Charcoal Black w/Cashmere stripe (I LOVE the shifter that comes with this option, not to mention how the white stripes pick up the exterior color. Would have preferred having the grabber blue stripe in the seats, but the cashmere looks great twoo.
Was tough choosing between this and Kona Blue + Stone, but I've had a light-colored leather interior before and it can be tough to clean. Also, this car was available RIGHT AWAY, and I felt it best to take it while the gittin' was good after reading order/delivery nightmares on this forum.
I'll be 48 next month and this is my very first Mustang (not counting a 1972 Cougar XR-7 I drove in high school which was more like a Continental Mark IV than a Mustang).

Very, very nice! Good luck!
One of the ways I demonstrate I'm a rebel is by removing all those "Do not remove under penalty of law" tags from my furniture. So I would be all over the airbag tag on the glove box.
The dealer name is specifically listed as a no-no on my ordered vehicle, but that would also come off in short order too.
