Things you're not crazy about on YOUR 2010?
Ouch. Sorry to hear I am not the only one w/ scratches. I would love it if some company would make an aftermarket kit to allow for 3rd party stereos. As soon as someone does, the base stereo with the scratched screen is getting tossed and a new/better one installed..
so I'll live with it.Will aftermarket support Sync? No way I'dd give that up.

absolutely! I would buy one just for that! My only complaint about the driving of the car, is that for my legs to be stretched out enough, my arms have to stretch a ways for the wheel. To be really nitpicky, I dont like the gap between the sunvisor and the headliner when they're shut. I've always liked the headliner to have an indention there for the sunvisor, and the molded mirror cover makes the visor have a gap.
2. Paint on the bumpers seems a little off.. color wise. It is not blatantly obvious but I can tell..
I added Invisible Shield to my shaker 500 screen. It made the scratches disappear and will protect it in the future. The plastic screen scratches WAY too easily. In my opinion, it should be glass. Whatever you do, DO NOT try to buff the scratches away - it will just make matters worse.

I was invited to a focus group in Irvine, CA to give feedback on the '10 Mustang to Ford Engineers. I'll serve you guys well and bring up a lot of the issues in this thread

Edit: I think I found it but it looks like everything is pre-cut?? What did you use for the Shaker?

I ordered the kit for a 13" macbook and then cut it to size with an X-acto knife. One kit is enough for about 10 shaker screens - but it took me 2-3 attempts to get it perfect. Remove the center stack face plate and apply. It has a bit of a texture which some people might not like. I can try to take a macro picture if anyone is interested. It's not applied in the photo below. You can see a line around the face where the center stack "opening" is. It cost me about $28 but my faceplate was pretty badly scratched from trying to buff it out with plastic polish.
