Mustangs of the SEMA show

There are several 2011 Mustangs on display at the SEMA show going on now. AutoBlog has some pics of them here:

yup, that's the Steeda hood. They got the Steeda front fascia on there too, but they almost ruined it with that extra splitter

I thought that might be it, I recognized the fascia. I am not a fanboi of carbon fiber accents so that I could do away with. I have always liked that GT500 style hood and had hoped more would be made similar.

I know most people would bash me for this but since I am open to a lot of different customizations, I love the concept style gigantic wheels and perfect ride height. I feel the old me coming out here from my, airbagged and slammed truck days, past but I absolutely love the black V6 with the huge Savini wheels, perfect fender tuck and aggressive wheel offset. If I had money to blow, I'd have a Mustang just like it and another to drive most of the time. Only thing is, take off that hideous lego built lower front fascia addition, replace it with the Steeda or Roush front fascia and a mild lower splitter maybe even no splitter and remove that spoiler. Oh and no Savini logos or writing on the wheels just the Pony logo from the Brembo wheels.

Gotta love that Steeda front facia!!! Interesting addition with the carbon splitter... wondering who makes that?

It looks as though another year at sema has not produced a good looking substitute/option for the 2010+ rear......shame!
