Mods are in my sig line.

This decision also needs to have other factors of consideration explored. Do you plan on tracking the car? Drag strip? DD with occasional track duty? Autocross? Your over all intent for the vehicle needs to be taken into account. Not just the looks. I want you to be happy with whatever you choose.

Here is a "before":

And here is "After" installing Steeda Ultralites w/Koni STR.Ts:

Before:

After:

I know they're on the small side, but I really like the base/stock wheels, especially the tire replacement cost. I have some sort of dark wheels/tires on my "to do" mod list, but it's not a priority at this time, what with 2 sets of braces and 3 colleges to pay (one at LSU now, the others to follow in a few years).

Info from Jesse Kershaw of FORD RACING:
"According to Kershaw, the additional half inch of drop is for looks only. “With the 1″ drop it maintains excellent road manners. We offer a 1.5″ drop also but this offers virtually no improvement in handling but does decrease the ride quality substantially,” he explained.

All the cars look seee here. Kinda partial to the steedas tho. I'll probably be going with ultralites. Did everyone here install the shocks struts and springs themselves? Is it a driveway doable job? I'm sure the OP would be curious to know that as well.

I had a shop install mine. I added Koni StrT shocks / struts, Steeda Sport springs / GT500 Strut mounts and BMR adj Panhard.

A gearhead friend & I did my struts / springs / Panhard bar at my house on 2 jack stands. 2 things u will need include a torque wrench good to 148 lb-ft & an air impact wrench, In addition to a pretty complete set of tools. Took us about 5 to 5.5 hours 2 do the whole thing.

The one trip up we ran into was the konis were not tapped for the brake hose bracket like the stock struts. We wasted a lot of time exploring tap/die set options before finding out that the stock bolt taps its own threads into the koni.
