Borla S-types & Custom H-pipe
So I got my Borla S-Types axle-backs installed and decided to forgo the MRT H pipe I was going to get and have my exhaust guy fab up a H-pipe for me and redo the over the axle pipes as the stock pipes have some flat spots I wanted to get rid of (see pic below) and I gotta tell ya, best **** decision yet! I LOVE THE SOUND of my 'stang now!
The setup: BBK shorty headers, Custom H-pipe w/ stock cats & resonators, custom over the axle-pipes and Borla S-type axle-backs

Sounds great. I love Borla's tips. They look so good from behind. The body shop that is fixing my car is also putting on their Touring A/B since they have it. Can't wait.

Great choice
I used black high temp paint to black out my Borla's Tips. Got tired of driving by store fronts and always seeing the chrome tip sticking out the back, it was like a eye magnet. Not anymore but very nice choice

It come from the factory like this. All 3.7s have this long flat spot in one of the pipes. Ridiculous! Which is why I had my exhaust guy get rid of it.

Anthony,
Did you retain stock diameter piping with the custom H pipe?
If you don't mind me asking, around how much did all that custom work cost? The trusted exhaust shop in my area told me it would be cheaper to buy a pre-fab H pipe than to have them make one. I think he just didn't want to mess with it, I've gotta believe an exhaust shop can fab an H pipe for 250-300 bucks.

I thought the wrong clip loaded and it was a v8, man that sounds gorgeous! I was originally planning a roush exhaust with resonators welded in with electronic cutouts.
Now. I. Must. Haz. This!
Got any ither vids of it?
