2013 GT model, questions on some changes

Hi, I have a few questions on some changes to the 2013 GT. Feel free to jump in if you know any (or all) of the answers:

1) The functional hood vents...will water drip down into the engine compartment? If so, where exactly will it drip/drain to? I personally love showing off my 2011 motor with strut tower brace, but for 2013, will it mean that owners will constantly have to clean the engine compartment to keep it nice? Especially after rain or a wash?
2) Are the GT500-style rear mud flaps now standard? For 2010-2012, GT owners had to order these from Ford ($50) and install ourselves.
3) Is it my imagination, or does the GT Premium have two FEWER gauges than before? Specifically, Oil Pressure and Battery Charge?

None of these are earth-shattering, I know. Just really curious...

#1 I haven´t received the vehicle yet but that is a good question.

#2 Seems to be

#3 the gauges were replaced with a 4.2LCD screen which comes with much more information than before including oil pressure, air/fuel ratio, cylinder head temp, track apps, etc, etc.

Water should drop on the exhaust manifolds or just next to them. I am sure they placed them where the most heat would rise from...

1. There is a shroud under the vents that channels the water down next to the strut tower
(i'll take a pic later)

2. Yes

3. Yes they're physically gone, but they still can be selected on the 4" display along with several other gauges like intake air temp.

here you go

Somebody had a picture of the under-hood design of the heat vents on here...I have no idea what thread it's in though, so probably just best to wait for cinque to post his pictures.

#2 - No oil pressure gauge, virtual or otherwise. Display lists "oil press - normal"

Oil temperature does have a virtual gauge - strange.

Wouldn't water be a bad place for the water to drip?

Sal, 158 miles. You gonna wear that thing out. Heck, I could put that much on one just goofing off.

I'm thinking those hood vents, while cool, will add a bit of a headache to cleaning up the engine compartment. Correct me if I'm wrong brother.

Or in them, don't think I'll park it under any trees come this fall.
