Extremely Rare 825 Horsepower Mustang Shelby GT-H Is Crossing the Auction Block

Add in the fact that the car only has 750 miles on the odometer and the desirability increases even more. And on top of that, this car is one of only two such Mustang coupes in the world fitted with a Whipple supercharger kit. The result is one of the most desirable Ford Mustangs built this century. The car you see here is crossing the auction block right now on the online auction site Cars & Bids. As of this writing there are five days to go on the auction and the current high bid is $66,000. According to a comment posted on the auction by Eric the Director of Remarketing for Hertz Corporation the car will be offered with a clean title and the sale to the winning bidder will be processed through the Hertz dealer network without any additional fees.
2022 Ford Mustang Shelby GT-H Coupe
The car stands out on the exterior thanks to the Rapid Red Metallic paint and Gold over-the-top Le Mans-style dual racing stripes and rocker stripes. The car also features a Shelby deep draw hood, upper grille, fascia winglets, taillight panel, and rear spoiler. There are also Shelby 60th anniversary emblems just in case onlookers didn’t already know that. On the inside is a CSM numbered dash plaque. The black Recaro seats have Shelby GT-H embroidered in gold. This car looks fantastic, but it has a lot more than good looks going for it.
Only two 60th anniversary GT-H coupes were ever built with a Whipple supercharger kit. This brings the power output up to a stout 850 horsepower. That power is fired to the rear wheels via a 10-speed automatic transmission. The original window sticker is included with the sale and the Carfax report shows no accidents.
Other Details
Aside from the Shelby GT-H specific bits this Mustang is rather nicely equipped. It includes features such as Ford Co-Pilot360, a rearview camera, and a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen stereo system. The car is also optioned with equipment group 401A (premier trim with color accent group, Ford Safe & Smart Package, adaptive cruise control, voice-activated touchscreen navigation system). This GT-H also has the desirable MageRide suspension system.
Concerns
This Mustang is amazing and should bring big money. But no car is perfect. It has extremely low miles, but it is a rental car after all. As they say, the fastest car in the world is a rental car because people tend to beat the hell out of them. But with only 750 miles, this Mustang could not have been beaten that much. The car comes with only 1 key. And the front bumper has some paint chips. The passenger-side front wheel has some scratches on it. These minor issues aside this is one of the most desirable and rare S550 Mustangs you can buy. And with only one other like it in the world, if you want one, you better place your bid now.
