How About a ‘Hyper Series’ Mustang?
Here’s a cool find for anyone looking for a unique Mustang that won’t break the bank, but still gives you something to brag about on the street.
This limited edition S-197, which was recently up for sale on eBay, was developed by Roush Performance as one of 100 cars the company built for 2012 known as the “Hyper Series” Ford Mustangs.
Under the hood, the car features a 2.3-liter Roush supercharger that pushes the 5.0-liter Ford V8’s output up to 540 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque while matted to a six-speed manual transmission, as showcased in a recent Bold Ride report.
The “Hyper Series” Mustang (believed to be one of the first of the specialty models) is also equipped with a lowered Roush performance suspension, exhaust, and four-piston brakes. But those who know the “Hyper Series” will first recognize that sinister black exterior color matched with “Gas It Green,” one of four packages offered with the model.
This car was originally listed at $34,700 on eBay, but bidding has ended with a current offer of $45,095.
