Often the US auto market has to do without some of the world’s finest sports cars due to emissions, safety, and other silly government-mandated regulations. But sometimes, it’s the other way around.
You’re probably familiar with the Shelby Mustang GT350R. It’s the current pinnacle of the Mustang family, and for good reason. Its Voodoo V8 engine produces 526 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque, all while sounding like an evil American fighter plane from WWII. P51 anyone?

Unfortunately, our friends across the pond don’t have access to the GT350R. Not because it’s too expensive, and certainly not because they don’t want it, but because Ford has chosen to not sell it in Merry Olde. Too bad so sad. (Say that with a British accent.)
This video by the always-hilarious folks of Car Throttle shows a Brit’s reaction to the powerhouse that is the GT350R. Ford temporarily sent a stunning tire-slaying monster to the UK in order to give local media a taste of America’s best. Their reaction? Well, you’ll have to watch the video to find out.
