Share this crash-course on all of the famous Mustangs from 1964 to 2018. This video’s here to transform your friends from zeroes to heroes.

The Ford Mustang has been around since 1964 and has (arguably, of course) been one of the most popular pony cars in the world. The Mustang moniker and body style are recognized worldwide as being quintessentially American. Over the Mustang’s 54-year lifespan, there have been six generations of the coupe, making it hard for fans and Mustang lovers to keep up with some of the minute and large changes that have taken place over the years. Luckily, Cars Evolution is here to save the day.

In the five minute video, Cars Evolution goes through some of the most popular Mustangs from 1964 to 2018. All of the greatest Mustangs are on the list, like the 1965 Shelby GT 350, 1967 Shelby GT500, 1969 Boss 429, 2000 SVT Cobra R, and 2016 Shelby GT350R. Instead of just showing pictures of the Mustang, the video has drawings of the machines, provides important information on the vehicles, and even has sound clips from each car.

The ’65 Shelby GT350, for instance, was powered by a 289-cubic-inch V8 engine that made 306 horsepower. The engine didn’t have a lot of weight to push around either, as the vehicle only tipped the scales at 2,790 pounds. Cars Evolution didn’t stop there though, but also provided pricing for all of the Mustangs. And since we’re sticking to the ’65 Shelby GT350, the coupe cost just $4,311 – or roughly $33,360 by today’s standards.

In addition to providing basic facts on specific models, the video also supplies facts that aren’t so well known. While we all know that the ’65 Shelby GT350 was the performance variant of the Mustang at the time, Cars Evolution claims that the vehicle didn’t have any rear seats and instead used the space for a spare tire. It’s facts like that, that makes this video a must watch for any Mustang fan.
