Baggin My Five-O Mustang

While all the rage lately may be about the 2015 Mustang, we can’t forget the S-197 chassis. So, while feeling nostalgic the other day, I was looking around on the 2010-2014 Mustang Source sub-forum, and found this bagged 2012 5.0 GT that I just had to share.

Member JimmyM decided to hop back into The Mustang Source forum and post up his 2012 ride. JimmyM’s no stranger to awesome-looking Mustangs, as he was the April 2011 Mustang of the Month winner. His Stang’s slammed stance is thanks to an airbag system he installed, and it really puts it on the ground.

Then, Jimmy’s ride got me reminiscing about another bagged S-197 Mustang we featured here last year. We were given an exclusive interview with Tom Sykes and he brought along the Mustang RTR known as “Double Down”.

I can’t really say which car I like better. Both look amazing dropped down, and yet can still function in daily driving at the flick of a switch. Either way, it’s a reminder that the new thing isn’t always the best thing.
