Ford Mustang GT350R Blitzes the Nurburgring
If this next piece of information turns out to be true, Chevy’s been put on notice, and Ford should have the world’s attention.
According to Evo Magazine, the new Shelby GT350R lapped the infamous Nürburgring Nordschleife in just 7:32.19. Holy mackerel!
That’s more than five seconds faster than Chevy’s Camaro Z/28.
After I got to drive the Z/28 last year, Ford announced they were going to build a competitor. I was skeptical they could pull it off. But if this turns out to be true, I’m going to have to eat my words.
