On September 17, 1966, Wallace D. Soule handed over $4,217.17 to Shelby American. In return he took home the performance-oriented Ford Mustang GT350 that he’d ordered just a few weeks before. Today, these cars are are going for more than $100,000, with some even fetching north of $200K.

This exact car, which is currently listed at Canepa auctions, should merit top dollar. It was recently restored and has only been driven 2,500 miles since. Though the car was kept almost to exact spec that it came in when it was first ordered, there was one major change: the transmission. The four-speed Toploader was swapped out for a Tremec 5-speed.

Now, this life-long California car is looking for a new family. Do you have room?
