2024 Saleen 302 White Label is a 510-HP Dark Horse Alternative
If you don’t want to pay dealer markups for a Dark Horse Mustang, then the new 2024 Saleen 302 White Label could be just the ticket.
The new S650-generation Mustang is here and as sure as the day follows the night, you knew the folks at Saleen would rolling out new S650-based specialty models. And at the LeMay – America’s Car Museum this week the 2024 Saleen 302 White Label broke cover. In the Saleen model hierarchy the White Label cars represent the entry level. But that is not to say there is nothing to be excited about. If you are frustrated by the hard-to-find Mustang Dark Horse and the absurd dealer mark ups that come along with it, then you might want to take a close look at the new Saleen 302 White Label.
The Dark Horse packs a nice and even 500 horsepower. The Saleen 302 White Label ups the ante to 510 horsepower. Will you notice an extra 2 percent power boost? Doubtful. But hey, more is always better, right? And the engine is just the start. The car also has a RaceCraft suspension and a host of other goodies to tempt you to join team Saleen.
Exterior
You can’t help but notice the changes to the exterior with the 2024 Saleen 302 White Label. Helping to cut through the air is a new front fascia that includes an aerodynamic splitter. There is a large hood vent, to help extract heat from the engine bay. And out back it the large rear wing that is typical of Saleen Mustangs. The Saleen logo and name is proudly displayed on the trunk. You will also find yellow accents running along the diffuser and rear side winglets and down the side skirts to the front lip and grille. A set of custom wheels rounds out the exterior visual changes.
Interior
Step inside the new car and you can see that the S650 interior has also been treated with a number of upgrades. The Saleen logo is embossed into the headrests, and additional Saleen badging can be found in the shifter and steering wheel. The yellow accents that are found on the exterior are matched with yellow stitching on the interior.
Saleen Trims and Pricing
The new Saleen 302 White Label will start at $61,900. Next up is the Yellow Label that is expected to cost $79,900 but comes with 745 horsepower. $87,700 will get you a Black Label capable of 800 horsepower. These upper trims have not yet been revealed but we expect them to roll out shortly. But for now we have the White Label to enjoy.
