Mustangs Against Breast Cancer

Pink Mustang 7
For decades, the Ford Mustang has served as an icon of not only American pride but also the spirit of giving back.  And over the past few years, one of the biggest causes that the Mustang has played a role in has been raising awareness for breast cancer.

For 19 years, the blue oval has been involved in fighting breast cancer with its Ford Warriors in Pink initiative to raise awareness about the disease.  Mustang has often been a major part of the campaign including a 2008 Warriors in Pink variation of the car for Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

This year, to help kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month, held every October, we decided to share some of our favorite Mustangs with the color pink that we’ve come across over the years.

We know that some of the cars we’ve selected were simply painted pink out of a love for the color. But hopefully collectively, they all can encourage us to become more active for the cause, which has been trademark of the Ford Pony for decades.
