When we first got wind about a new Mustang customized as a tribute to the F-35 Lightning II aircraft, we realized that the team at MAD Industries might just be a major player when it comes to customizing the s550. With their latest project, we’re starting to learn just how big the California-based custom shop wants to be.

The MAD team just unveiled another hot modified version of the new Mustang, as highlighted in a MustangandFords.com report. Based on the 2015 Mustang GT Premium with the factory Performance Package, this MAD mod is as much about impressing people with its looks as it is with its performance capabilities. Under the hood, it features a Whipple 2.9L supercharger that boosts output to 725 horsepower with the blower finished in Luster-Gold.

Other performance features include a Gibson Performance Exhaust fitted with a Gibson’s 3-inch stainless exhaust with an X-pipe, a Pro-R2 coilover kit, Superflow mufflers, and a Wilwood Aerolite braking system.

The exterior details include 21-inch MHT Niche Road wheels from the Monotech Series and Misano A61 Concave Forged Monoblock finished in a Luster Gold high-gloss paint.

Of course, the most eye-catching exterior feature is that custom paint job that comes courtesy of the team at LGE-CTS Motorsports of San Dimas, California. But there’s a whole lot more that went into making this hot MAD mod, which you can get more details about in the full MustangandFords.com report.
