This is our 2001 Mercury GM we've owned since 2001, it is our long trip car usually. When purchased I had my wife's mother living here with us. High geared 2.76 rear means a long first gear and low revs at 75-80 and great mileage out on the road, Addco sway bars both ends and Bilsteins means she likes those exit ramps, NO plowing when you turn the wheel .... she just goes that way. Comfortable, huge trunk, she's taken us all the way across country several times and many more shorter "east of Mississippi River" trips. She stays covered under a carport, still under 80K miles in 2014. Background is our 1985 Thunderbird 5.0 bought in 1986 and sold October 2009 .... should have kept it too.
