History
I bought this 2012 Ford Mustang V6 Base in late 2013 I saw it on the interwebs down in MA so I got my local dealership to buy it and have it brought up here, now originally my passion for mustangs was sparked when I was down in Florida in 2012 and I rented a 2013 V6 Stirling Gray Metallic (Beautiful color btw) and I just loved it so I knew I needed one. Now my dad used to own back in the 70's a 1969 Boss 302, He would bring it to the drag strip and race it and he got it custom painted to be black with flames emerging from the front of the car but he blew the engine and sold it (for under $10K!) So I was shopping around for mustang found a nice black GT at my closest Ford Dealership and I really did like it 2013 GT Premium package 400A but the dealership would not negotiate at all when it came to price (They are real jerks, their parts guy left he hated that dealerships so much) so then I got this 2012 Kona Blue it wasn't a 2013 but I intended and still do intend to change that, I first starting working on it because I hated the plastic dash and steering wheel and all around "Cheep feel" on the 100A. So winter time comes I buy some "Presents" A new dash overlay (Hated it and ruined my dash), Door sills, and GT500 steering wheel) I installed all of it in the harsh Vermont winter weather, I didn't like the dash overlay so I spent around $500 in total to get a new OEM Aluminum dash like in the 200A and 400A. Then I started to get hooked and I came up with a game plan, I was going to redo my entire interior to look like a 2013 mustang 200A or 400A so I did I bought $2K-$3K worth of interior parts and installed them upgrade the cluster to a 2013 premium thanks to this forum page. So the interior was done so I wonder what should I do next, well the answer came to me in the form of 2013 Rear ends, I wanted one the was one of the biggest things about the 2013's that I wanted, so I got a good rear bumper from midwaymustangparts on ebay got it painted then installed the used 2013 tail lights (I have to replace the driver side there is a crack) next I wanted quad exhausts from the shelby's but I also wanted to upgrade my front end, but I got a deal on the axle-backs that I could not pass up and now I'm in the middle of getting them put on I'm bringing my car to my local muffler shop on the 15th of this month so they can weld a 2.5" to 3" adapter to my over axle pipe. then after that I hope to find a nice 2013 mustang front bumper (PM me if you have one) and a 2013 mustang GT Hood (Again PM me if you have one) and finish this car.
