2016 Competition Orange Wins Me Over

I attended a cruise-in today at a local Ford dealer and browsed through the new Mustangs. With GT premium coupes hitting $40k I really don't see one in my future. I came across this 2016 EcoBoost in competition orange and I tell ya, I like it. I still don't have the desire to buy one in lieu of my GT/CS but it's appealing enough that I could see it my garage very easily. The black wheels are sweet IMO. Still pricey at $33k though.

That competition orange is a sweet color. I looked at one, a GT and took it for a little drive. Loved it. It is even sweeter with the CS package. I'm totally in love with it.

I have to agree with ya but I'd also hate to see the sticker on that one. Mine was $37k back in '07. so I can't imagine how much over $40k this one is. Plus I still like convertibles so add on even more $$. It's getting tough.
Thanks for the video. Once I turned off the sound I really liked the walkaround.

10 years of inflation coupled with tons of additional features, safety advancements, engine advancements and a brand new platform - how much do you think it should cost? Take a look at the average cost of new vehicles today, and you'd see that $33k for what you get is actually a bargain...

Yeah, they are a wee bit pricey. I also looked at a race red CS. It was $43,000. The GT was $44,000. Right now that dealer has some deals/savings thing going on. The CS's are in the $37 to $39,000 range. Both of the ones I looked at had a couple of extra goodies on it that drove up the cost.

Beautiful color combo. I wish Ford didn't discontinue the CO. Such a gorgeous color.
