OEM HID Headlights

Question on the OEM HID headlights, these lights on my 2013 GT are not as bright as other HID headlights (BMW, Mercedes, Etc) that I've seen on other cars. How about the rest of you with these lights. The halogens on my wife's mini-van are brighter.

I don't have any issues with mine, about the same output as the 35w aftermarket HID on my focus. Might be aimed too low, but don't go higher than the factory spec as you'll blind people.

Lens covers might be very dirty or fogged or something as well

nope, what you're seeing is normal. The projectors on our OEM HIDs just aren't as good as other manufacturers. That being said, I swapped to OSRAM bulbs and never looked back. OSRAMS on all my other cars.
