The trans came in a kit, but I had to get a different bell housing, and then pay $712 for a spacer to go between the bell housing and the transmission...

In all seriousness, why? (serious question, not trying to be an Ahole)
Uniqueness? Challenge?
I feel like a blownin Aluminator would just have been a better route but not my car, I am interested to see how this turns out. Has anyone actually done this?

I have posted in the past about a 2006 V6 Mustang hat had a 427 big block dropped into it. It was really cool.

It depends on who you ask. One guy thinks it's because I'm an asshat.
Yes, and no. Mostly just because I want to.
But it wouldn't have been a better route for me. Besides, aluminator blocks (if you can find one) is crazy money. Besides, it's cooler to say "427".

On your website you mention choosing a V6 over a V8 for gas mileage.
After this swap you can kiss your V6 gas mileage good-bye.
This is going to be an amazing transplant!
