whoa, that's pricey, but it may be worth it. Here's my front page take on it...

The R comes standard with the CF wheels. Idk how many times we need to say it. The stupid thing though, is that the R is available with the Tech package, but the standard GT350 cannot be had with the Track package and Electronics package together - doesn't make sense!

I agree, but I bet a lot of these cars will never be driven, sadly...no point putting all the coolers on for cars that'll sit. And then for those that ARE tracked, they'll probably get aftermarket parts lol

>>shrugs<< While it may not be 100% carbon fiber Dymag does carbon fiber barrels with either aluminum spokes and hubs or magnesium spokes and hubs. Last time I checked they were around 2500.00 apiece.

I'm not too interested in the non R car anyways. The R car is really different than the non R car. Huge differences.

At the North American Track Tour for the GT350 at Laguna Seca, a Ford engineer said that the differences between the two cars were between cosmetic and the tuning of the suspension. The R is tuned more for the track than the non R, but that all the or almost all of the hardware is the same between the two.

I should have clarified the two cars he was talking about were the GT350R and the none R but with the trak pak. Oh and btw, the person I was speaking to was the very one in the video you posted.
