Popping sound when turning on stereo
I have a base gt with the 4 speakers. Initially I fitted 4 kicker cs68 speakers, wanting to keep the factory headunit I purchased a pioneer 4 channel amp and a powered kicker sub.
Not knowing anything about audio my friend installed it, he mentioned how the factory stereo has very little outputs. Anyway he fitted everything and when I turn on the stereo it makes a loud single popping noise when first turned on.
Why is this and how do I fix it?

Do a search and look around a little bit if you want more info.
But here's a quick "why" and how to fix it: http://wwv.crutchfield.com/p_120AFDI...s-AFDI-5V.html
